Eldad Weiner, DVM - Owner/Companion Animal Medicine

Dr. Eldad Weiner was born and raised in Israel. He graduated veterinary school in 1998 and moved to Canada in 2002, where he was practicing as a veterinary associate until he established Upper Bathurst Animal Clinic in March of 2010. Dr. Weiner is married with 3 boys, 2 dogs and 1 cat. His dogs, Toto and Bella, join him at work everyday and will greet you every time you walk through the door; even if you've just gone to retrieve something from your car.

Dr. Weiner is a huge animal lover and strong supporter of animal rescue. Upper Bathurst Animal Clinic works with numerous rescue groups who care for animals all across the GTA.

Along with the necessity of physical examinations and occasional testing, Dr. Weiner understands that compassion plays a large role in treatment. To this end, he believes complete veterinary care relies heavily on owner observation and involvement and cannot rely on cold facts alone. He believes owner collaboration is important for tailored and patient-specific treatment.

Dr. Weiner looks forward to meeting new patients as well as maintaining warm relationships with ongoing clients.

Dr. Doris Neculoiu, Veterinarian

Dr. Doris Neculoiu fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian and she graduated the University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine in her native Romania, in 1992; she taught as a member of the faculty in the veterinary surgery department for 5 years.

Dr. Doris immigrated to Canada in 1997, started to work as a veterinary technician, and she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and started practicing in 1999.

She is passionate about helping pets and their guardians and she brings a diverse and extensive experience in veterinary internal medicine, emergency care and veterinary surgery and dentistry.

Her hobbies include hiking, horseback riding, swimming, paddle boarding, yoga and country living.

Dr. Doris loves her family, which includes her husband, their beloved dog, Iris, and their horse, Pegasus.

Maggie, Receptionist

Maggie is an enthusiastic animal lover with an undergraduate biology degree from Queen's University. Prior to joining the UBAC team in early 2015, Maggie worked in wildlife rehabilitation - during which time she decided she would pursue a veterinary career.

She has a grumpy calico cat named Serena, and hopes to one day own a rescue farm and care for both domestic and wild animals.

Sirkka, Technician

Sirkka joined the UBAC team in late 2011. She is a huge animal lover with many years of experience in the field.

Sirkka has 1 dog and 4 cats and she recently added to her family as she became a new mother.

Pam, Receptionist

She has a certificate from Sheridan College for Animal Care. She worked at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic for 2 years gaining even more experience in animal care. She is always eager to learn new and exciting things about veterinary medicine. She goes above and beyond for patients, clients and co-workers.

When she's not at the clinic, she uses her spare time to enjoy the little things, especially her children Hoover (Domestic Shorthair) Mimi (Domestic Longhair) Chiba (Domestic Shorthair) Ellie (Cockapoo) and Brianna (Human). On top of a work schedule she is also in the process of advancing her education. Not sure if RVT or Veterinarian yet, but only time will tell and lead her to the right path.
